Description:

My client, one of the largest privately held logistics providers in Ireland, islooking for an Energy & ESG Officer to join the team based in Maghera and Ballycoolin, Dublin.

You will help manage workacross a range of ESG topics working closely with Environmental stakeholders to develop, enhance, monitor, manage and promote best ESG and Energy practices within the company.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Developing ESG programs, policies, and implementing ESG initiatives for the company.
* Develop and lead ESG projects within the Company.
* Research and monitor ESG issue areas, emerging trends, governance, reporting, and measurement.
* Manage the coordination and scheduling of ESGGovernance team meetings.
* Coordinate the collection, validation, analysis, and communication of ESG-related data for annual audits, questionnaires, surveys, and reports.

In order to be successful, you will have:

* Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety Legislation and ESG requirements.
* Comprehension of the challenge that the logistics industry face with regards to Energy and ESG Management.
* Able to drive with Full Clean driving License.
* Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple work streams at once with expertise in environmental, social, and governance programs and disclosures.
* Excellent Interpersonal communications skills
* Can summarize, and articulate large volumes of information to meet the different needs of internal and external stakeholders.
* Analytically minded and competent using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel,Word, & data analysis.
* Possess a working knowledge of reporting frameworks and industry standards.
* Initiative and good decision-making skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and focused.Desirable (but not mandatory):
* Experience with external questionnaire platforms including, but not limited to EcoVadis.
* Experience in managing ESG issues and disclosures, preferably in the Logistics, Gas and Biomethane industry.
* Experience and knowledge of the transport industry.
