We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to become an integral part of our maintenance team. This roleoffers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on machinery maintenance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on a variety of production equipment.
* Preventive Maintenance: Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimized.
* Breakdown Response: Quickly respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing issues to restorenormal operations.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives to improve equipment performance and overallproduction efficiency.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machinery performance.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Working Hours:
* Shift Pattern: Double days (Monday to Friday) with flexibility required
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience: Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably within the food manufacturing industry, though candidates from other industries are welcome.
* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance practices.
* Engineering Discipline: Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Effective troubleshooting abilities for mechanical and electrical issues.
* Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
