Description:

Myclient is currently seeking applications for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 within theirEmergency Department, a position that plays a pivotal role in coordinating and managing departmental activities and resources. As a key member of the nurse management team, the CNM2 serves as a role model, fostering a culture of open communication and bestpractices in nursing care delivery. They provide clinical expertise, guidance, and support to the multi-professional team whileoverseeing responsibilities such as resource management, patient care, staffing, staff development, and promoting professionaland clinical leadership.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

* Registration with NMBI
* Demonstrated commitment to patient Safety & Quality
* Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate acute care nursing experience
* Essential previous experience in an Emergency department
* Desirable Post-Graduate qualification in Emergency Medicine
* Minimum of 3 years' experiencein a people management role (CNM1 position or equivalent)
* Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills* Strong decision-making ability with excellent organizational skills
* Proven leadership and change management skills

Desirable:

* Preceptorship qualification and experience
* Desirable management qualification
* Completion and up-to-date status of ACLS course (or willingness to undertake)
* Previous experience in managing high turnover daycase procedures
