The Kiosk was one of Tel Aviv’s most popular restaurants in the 1980s and its co-owner Zeev Zi-Pear was a familiar face at the Tel Aviv eatery, a favourite with well-known Israeli media celebrities, journalists, artists and government officials. The restaurant was well known throughout Israel for its high quality French food and welcoming atmosphere.
In 1984 Zeev decided on a change of scene, keen to see some more of the world, having lived in Israel all his life. So he decided to travel around Egypt, as well as Europe including Greece and Italy. He eventually arrived in the UK and immediately felt at home in London with its international and cosmopolitan feel. He made his home in the UK capital where he started his own property business, over the last three decades or more he has been investing in central London apartments which he lets out to professional tenants.
