A BRAND-NEW opportunity for a General Manager to join a major placer in entry systems.
As the General Manager (Europe) you will be responsible for the growth of sales by actively managing, growing and facilitating the distribution channels and any associated resellers.
This role will be tasked with assuming overall responsibility for existing channels and routes to market that are in place, as well as devising strategic plans to grow profitable distribution sales through growth of existing and new channels. These strategic plans will be aligned with the overriding strategy for the business. Driving through proactive management and communication with interdepartmental collaboration, online and offline marketing programs, new product introductions, improved sales tools and effective pricing management.
A key component of this role is collaboration with our chosen European partners from individual resellers through to large scale key accounts, building an effective network that focuses on strong relationships to gainmarket share and add value.
Responsibilities of the General Manager
* Develop strategic relationships with national andregional distributors and catalogue houses
* Day-to-day management of the team
* Develop direct sales channels to maximise the potential range across Europe
* Own the day-to-day interactions, as well as the new business generation metrics with each partner
* Work collaboratively with partners, meeting regularly to review sales activities, plan marketing & sales activities
* Build forecasting tools to manage supply and demand of products
* Work closely with the internal cross-functional team(Marketing and Sales)
* Collaborate and develop clear lines of communication with the internal Operations team
* Drive fastintroduction and launch of products
* Participate in joint customer visits, and trade/product roadshows to help drive new business conversion
* Set and manage distribution policy, price increases, tiered discount structure and contracts
* Direct andensure follow up on all incoming distribution enquiries, leads and RFQ's
* Leverage communication tools to gather "Voice of Customer" to drive an improved customer experience and new product direction
Requirements of the General Manager
* Experienced in driving sales in new markets with an entrepreneurial approach
* A demonstrable background in channel and/or distribution or alliance/partnership role
* Experience in creating and implementing price and revenue management strategies to maximise the growth and profitability of the business
