* Accounts Assistant - Purchase and Sales Ledger
* £12.50 - £15 per hour
* Initial 12 - 15 week temporary role starting ASAP
* Role based on-sitein Halifax
Working for a large IT Consultancy we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join on a short term 12-15 week temporary assignment working full-time on-site in their offices in Halifax. You will be supporting on both Purchase and SalesLedger.
Working Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm with a pay of between £12.50 - £15 per hour
The ideal candidatewill have previous experience within Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger
Duties will include:
* Processing high volume of invoices - matching invoices with purchase orders on the accounting software ensuring accuracy of coding.
* Assisting with weekly payment runs
* Performing monthly supplier reconciliations
* Resolving queries from suppliers and colleagues
* Ensuring procedures and processes are adhered to, particularly purchase orders processes
* General ad-hoc duties
Experience Required:
* Must have previous accounts experience
* Experience using any Finance software is fine
PersonSpecification:
* A team player who is comfortable using their initiative to ensure deadlines are met
* Great communicator at all levels, and confident speaking with internal and external contacts
