FRS Recruitment are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant for ourclient based in Birr Co Offaly. This is a permanent, part time position.
DUTIES:
* Posting of invoices, allocation of receipts and processing payments.
* Preparation of invoices for the Office of the Revenue Commissioners
* VAT returns.
* VEIS Returns
* Complete reconciliations of bank statements, visa statements
* Balancing the general ledger through the preparation of atrial balance.
* Preparation of the Profit & Loss sheets for annual accounts
* Post and process journal entries to ensureall business transactions are recorded
* Compliance with relevant legal requirements by carefully studying these requirements,enforcing company adherence, filing reports and advising management on the necessary actions.
* Operating software packages Quick Books to record and retrieve information particularly spreadsheets
Experience:
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Accounting Technician qualification
* Strong Excel skills
* Demonstrate strong analytical capability
* Excellent communication skills
Part-time hours: 24 per week
