Accounts Assistant - Mullingar, Co. Offaly
Full time - 3 month contractThe Role:
* Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
* Provide support in implementing and updating new system
* Preparing statutory accounts and matching invoices / PO's
* Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.* Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
* Recording and filing cash transactions.
* Controlling credit and chasing debt.
* Invoice processing, Purchase Orders and filing.
* Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
* Bank reconciliation.
* Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
* Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
* Working hours: 8.30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday
Requirements:
* Previous accounts assistant experience
* Knowledge of accounts, debit and credits, ledgers, PO's, invoicing etc
* Ability to work as part of a teamand take direction accurately.
* Analytical thinker and problem solver.
* Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
* High level of accuracy.
* Immediately available
