FRS Recruitment is offering a excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Technician or Assistant Accountant in Castleblaney, Co Monaghan. This full-time, permanent position is a result of the company'sgrowth and represents an excellent chance for career advancement.

This role will be responsible for managing the financial operation of the company, reporting to the Managing Director.
You will work alongside our Admin team, Operations team, and our Commercial Manager.Responsibilities:
* Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts to Trial Balance
* Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable & Receivable and all subcontractor payments. Revenue returns for P30, VAT and RCT.
* Prepare payment runs for review andensure they are in line with the cashflow forecasts.
* Entering financial information into accounting software programs
* Reconciling bank accounts.
* Managing company ledgers
* Raise invoices.
* Analysis & reconciliations
* Responsible for weekly and monthly payroll.
* Credit Control.
* Conduct ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
Skills & Requirements:* Flexibility to fulfil other roles and responsibilities at a similar level within the group.
* Ability to manage tasks andchanging priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
* Proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work on owninitiative.
* Experience in the construction industry an advantage.
* Strong analytical skills
* Competent IT skills, particularly in the use of spreadsheets.
* Have high attention to detail excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organisation.
* Strong commercial sense
* Knowledge ofSurf Accounts & BrightPay an advantage, but not essential
Qualifications
* Recognised Accounting Qualification advantagenot essential. (ATT, ATI or equivalent advantage)
* Five plus year experience post qualification in a similar role
* Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentational)
* Team Player, communicative person with a can-do attitude, time flexibility
* Permanent Full-time role
