I am working with a leading management consultancy who are building their Technology offering to clients. As a result of they are looking to recruit experienced IT consultants to engage in Digital Transformation.

About the role

* Client delivery: You will work with clients to deliver technology projects that will support their business objectives. We are currently implementing projects in the banking, insurance, property, energy, utilities, retail, wholesale, fast-moving consumer goods and government sectors.
* Business development: You'll be responsible for contributing to proposals and client presentations for complex Enterprise Applications related delivery projects.
* Practice development: you will work with Technology and Consulting leadership to build-out offerings, methodologies, and delivery capabilities (people and tools).
* Thought Leadership: Drawing on your skills and experience, you'll create innovative insights for clients looking to develop their solutions to deliver value and improve their operations. You will help raise the profile of the firm in this regard.



Client delivery

As a client-facing Enterprise Applications consultant, you will:

* Be capable of understanding business processes across multiple sectors and industries, preferably across both manufacturing and service industriesand including public and private sector organisations.
* Be capable of analysing the current technology landscape in a business and see how that maps to the overall strategy of a business.
* Be able to communicate at all levels of a business right up to board level.
* Lead user requirements workshops and develop and document the requirements, providing challenge to the usersto ensure the requirements meet desired business outcomes.
* Carry out process mapping and identify areas for process improvement.
* Develop As-Is, To-Be and Gap Analysis documentation.
* Develop business case planning including financial management,resource planning, and benefits analysis.
* Quickly identify possibilities for improvements to the application landscape andthe benefits around those improvements.
* Have experience dealing with potential vendors to help select the appropriate systems to meet the requirements identified. This includes dealing with selection documents (RFIs, RFPs etc.), organisation demonstrations, and creating scoring models.
* Use the knowledge gained from the initial analysis phase to manage the implementation ofa system or systems and solution that takes the clients business forward in line with their overall strategy and objectives.* Identify opportunities to improve offerings to customers.
* Develop close working relationships with our customers in orderto get insights which will allow Grant Thornton to offer the best solutions to our clients.
* Design and tailor those solutions to best fit customer needs.



About you

You will be a self-starter, highly motivated to develop a market leading capability and to progress within the firm. You will have the right blend of hands-on experience, an eye for innovation, and understanding of the markets in which we work. You will use this to excel in client delivery and help develop and build client offerings and go-to-market propositions. You will:

* have a proven track record of delivery.
* have strong stakeholder managementskills.
* be a confident and impactful communicator, both written and verbal, able to clearly explain solution design to technical and non-technical audiences, in a way that is accessible to everyone, especially senior stakeholders. You will have significant experience in facilitating effective workshops across all levels of an organisation.
* have proven experience of supporting business development activities, client relationship management and contribution to winning proposal development.
* g.About your domain knowledge and skills

You will:

* have experience with project management methodologies (e.g. PMP,Prince2, Scrum etc.) - preferably more than one.
* Have implementation experience in more than one Enterprise Application. Forexample, industry recognised standard applications such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Infor, IFS, Workday.
* Similarly, knowledge of CRM systems would be a plus - e.g. Salesforce, Dynamics CRM.
* An interest in emerging technology - e.g. AI, RPA, IoT, Blockchain
* Knowledge of latest cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options (and familiarity with enterprise cloud vendors Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform).
* Have excellent written and oral communications skills. You have significant experience presenting to and developing written documents for executive and leadership levels within an organisation.
* Have experience of hands on delivery of projects at key clients, either on your own or as part of larger delivery teams. You have a personal track record of delivering impactful results;* Have excellent project management, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience with Enterprise Application strategy analysis and selection would be preferred.



Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience. Some technical background preferred.
* 5+ years direct work experience in an EnterpriseApplication implementation capacity, including project management and/or systems selection.
* Competent and proficient understanding of business solutions, such as ERP, CRM, HR, and Document Management.
