* Hybrid working - 4 days in the office and 1 dayworking remotely
Working for a Global Leader in Technology we are looking for an experienced Finance Specialist to jointheir small and friendly Finance Team in their offices in Staines. This is an initial 3 month interim contract with a salary of£65,000 - £80,000pa (negotiable based on experience). This is a full-time role working 36.25 hours per week with 4 days on-siteat their offices in Staines and 1 day remote working.
Working as a Finance Specialist, the job's overview is to manage and support the various financial, management and cost accounts, forecasting future movements of income, expenses, assets and liabilities. To accept responsibility for the timely provision of financial and monthly accounts, budgetary control, planning and audit requirements as requested by the Finance Manager.
The main focus on the role will be to manage all internal and external audit requirements and procedures.
Role and Responsibilities
The main tasks you are expected to perform include, but are not limited to:
* To manage all internal auditing requirements and procedures as requested
* Internal audit delivery and cover holder reviews of underwriting functions
* To liaise with external auditors, if required
* To be innovative in improving internal controls and procedures
* To support any/all activities within the Finance team
* To liaise with directors in producing financial information to assist with their reporting / decision-making requirements e.g. budget etc
* Production of operating budgets and forecasts and providing accurate report on financial results against these
* To produce timely financial reports and statements in line with company requirements. This includes monthly reporting of costs by division and project with analysis against plan and forecast, as well as recharge of expenses to the wider business
* Timely monthly managementaccounts, budgets, forecasts and commentaries for local use
* To encourage team building, motivation and cultivate effectiveteam relations.
* Timely provision of progress reports, following the attendance of meetings and resulting from other activities undertaken as appropriate.
All work is to be of a professional standard, paying due regard to safety, efficiency, cost effectiveness, time scales and the needs of the company. Expected to determine the methods and resources required to achieve defined financial objectives and deadlines. The job holder is expected to accomplish assigned tasks to defined deadlines.Skills and Qualifications
* A qualified accountant with experience working in an audit firm would be ideal
* If you're not from an audit firm we would love to see Finance candidates from a global company who have dealt with internal audits
* Musthave extensive experience working with SAP
* Experience of working in a global or medium size organization
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent MS Excel skills. (Pivot tables, VLookups)
* Identify meaningful patterns* Korean speaking is an advantage but NOT essential
