Description:
Working as a Logistics Administrator within a well known government organisation, you will provide administrative support tothe logistics senior management team.
Contract Length: 12 Months
Based: Hanslope Park (Milton Keynes) with redular travel to London (Expenses for this are paid)
Salary: £24,350
Key Responsibilities
* To collate and prepare management intelligence, including sourcing operational data and presenting information in agreed formats
* To collate, calculate and presentData, including team's monthly hours and overtime, H&S statistics, outstanding credit card amounts and other data as required
* To provide administrative support for projects and governance requirements, including minute-taking for Diplomatic bag team meetings and team meetings
* To provide administrative support to the Logisitcs tea, including downloading and preparing charging data, formatting charging data, creating SDN's and forwarding to customers and the billing team, maintaining the "specialquotes" spreadsheet creating requisitions and recent supplier invoices
* To provide cover for the Kings Messengers Office when required
* Booking & planning off-site meetings or accomodation.

Additional Requirements
* Responsible for assisting planning &scheduling of the scheduled service, Ad-hoc and time sensitive deliveries, complying with regional restrictions
* Tasks will include visa applications and rostering of journeys, there is a finance element in compiling details for services delivered and invoice validation on invoices received against services procured
* To assist with the planning & scheduling of all scheduled and off scheduled journeys to British embassies, High commissions and other missions overseas
* To assist the section headin the planning of journeys to guarentee the safety and intergrity of the service
* Delivering briefings and issue DCP's, assist in the coordination and management of diplomatic courier runs and movements, liasing with partners across the government andwider regions ensuring due process is adhered to.
* Maintaining log sheets and provide supporting documentation to enable thebilling of services delivered
* Obtain accurate financial costings to enable planning teams to quote to customers for delivering services on a Ad-hoc basis, to offer cost saving and alternative options where available
* Maintain best practice for planning and forecasting through a process of continuous improvement and improve local operational productivity through work scheduling and work presentation
* Ensure delivery schedules are supported with the appropriate documentation, ensuring that administrative processes facilitate the smooth operation of services, prompt action & that the team are fully compliant with all logistics processes.
This role requires SC Clearance or requires the suitable candidate to undergo SC Clearance (Need to have been a Brittish citizen for 2 years out of the last 5)
