Working for a successful and rapidly growing Threat Intelligence company, we are seeking an experienced HR Advisor who is enthusiastic, solution-orientated and applies a people-focused lens to everything they do. Given the nature and circumstance of the role, the HR Advisor will need to understand the importance of confidentiality and can expect to work in a fast-paced environment supporting the People team with front-line HR support, providing guidance and advice to managers and employees, managing all processes related to the employee life cycle and supporting on a variety of HR projects.
HR Advisor responsibilities:
* Support annual operational milestones such as promotions and pay review processes
Provide effective HR operations throughout the employee life cycle
* Provide monthly input to payroll
* Bethe first point of contact and expert on company HR policies and processes:
* Implement policies, programs and guidelines foremployees; provide input in the development of new programs and policies as required.
* Provide advice, guidance and support to employees and line managers on a variety of HR issues, ensuring adherence to company policy and employment legislation.
* Provide coaching and advice on low complexity employee relation matters ensuring legal
compliance, employee advocacy and business partnership.
* Support the onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively oriented and integrated into the business.
* Lead and deliver the local onboarding process to ensure an impactful experience for new hires
* Create productive business relationships in order to become a trusted advisor on HR matters
* Build strong relationships within the People functionand collaborate on cross discipline people projects
* Support the implementation and execution of HR-related programs linked to the Employee Life Cycle / Experience / Development.
* Coordinate with "centres of excellence" (e.g., People Operations, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Benefits) to deliver on business requests and solve business problems.
* Work with HR team on a variety HR and L&D projects as required
Ideal Experience:
* Previous experience as an HR Advisor in a fast paced and collaborative environment
* Experience of supporting employee relations and performance management situations including attendance at investigations and hearings
* Excellent attention to detail
* First class organisational skills with theability to manage conflicting priorities
* Experience using G-suite/Gmail and HR systems
* Outstanding communication skills* Sound knowledge of UK employment law
* Able to demonstrate high degree of initiative, autonomy and pace coupled with accuracy
* Comfortable with ambiguity and able to deliver to high standards
* Ideally studying/have studied CIPD
