Overview of the OCR Executive:
The purpose of the role is to support the business in the achievement of automation of manual tasks within the Customer Services department.
Main Duties:
* Work closely with the technical teams to optimise current tools to deliver on agreed business targets/efficiency savings
* Work closely with all departments to provide an awareness of OCR capabilities to ensure accurate assumptions are used for forecasting and client pricing
* Provide OCR forecasts to enable accurate pricing and volume forecasting assumptions.
* Work closely with Commercial, Sales and the Project Management Team to Influence and create efficient customer journeys
* Work with the business to identify new OCR technologies and new opportunities to deploy OCR tools* Design and implement robust OCR policies to maximise efficiency's whilst mitigating risk to the business
* Monitor and optimise live policies to maximise automation levels
* Responsible for implementing and overseeing a robust quality framework toensure the accurate validation of claims
* Implement policies to improve the accuracy of the OCR technologies
* Responsiblefor implementing policies, processes, and appropriate controls to minimise the risk of incorrect OCR validation
* Use data tomeasure and track automation success rate and provide meaningful insight and recommendations based on it
* Work with the wider business to identify opportunities to minimise CS manual intervention
* Where appropriate escalate issues impacting automation and creating manual effort
* Responsible for producing weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reporting and analysis to explain trends in KPIs
* Will be required to attend meetings to present and discuss Zero Touch performance
Ideal Background:
* A strong working knowledge of OCR tools and technologies
* Strong IT skills
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to adopt a logicalapproach to resolving problems
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate and interpret data to understand issues, inform, drive and deliver results
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Highly adept at briefing all levels of the business on complex OCR rules
* Ability to work under pressure andwork on your own initiative
* Good time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work
* Negotiation and influencing skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
* Strong experience of defining and advising on test scope, approach, risks and assumptions
* Able to run and manage appropriate tests to ensure that requirements have been fully met
