Who will you be working for?
My client are an alliance of licencing, asset management and IT procurement professionals with an impressive global clientele, including multinationals, government agencies and non-profits worldwide. Based in Reading my client are now looking for an experienced office administrator, occasional travel to their Reading offices will be expected, with 2023 plans including a Swansea base for work. About the role of Office Administrator:
As a remote based office administrator, you will be responsible for several functions, the core duties will be to assist the team and their clients for a seamlessbusiness operation. Some of the duties include:
* Supporting the team with general administration tasks
* Support with VAT returns
* Invoices, both domestic and internationally
* Awareness of VAT rules for international invoicing
* Purchase orders
* Time reporting
* Expenses
* General office administration: providing ad hoc support and administrative project workas and when required
* Answer incoming calls and redirect if required
* Office purchasing duties include
* Office Stationery and supplies
* Update employees via email of any information that needs communicating
* First point of contact
* Assist with travel bookings for staff
* Assisting from time to time with the implementation of policies, procedures, and new systems
* Contribution to the starter and leavers processes
* Support HR, included but not limited to: onboarding new employees* Vendor onboarding, supporting consultants to onboard the firm with new customers
* Perform any other reasonable duties askedRequirements for office administrator:
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:
* Experienced Administrator with a minimum of 5 years' experience
* Experience using time management software* Fleet experience, company car leases, processing penalties and parking tickets etc
* Experienced in bookkeeping and liaising with accountants
* Credit control experience
* Flexibility to travel domestic and international (not frequent)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive with an ability to work autonomously
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
* Approachable
* Resourceful
* Presentable and professional
* Articulate, clear,intelligent
* Strong team player
