· Retail Customer Account Executive
· £35,000 - £37,000 per annum
· 3 month initial contract but could potentially be extended
· Hybrid working - 2 days a week in Leatherhead and the rest working remotely
Working for a global FMCG company we are looking for an experienced Commercial Executive to join their team.
This is starting out as a 3 month temporary contract but has potential, if all is going well, to extend to 12 months.
The role is hybrid working so you will be required to work from their Leatherhead offices on a Wednesday and a Thursday and the rest is workingremotely.
As Retail Customer Account Executive your primary aim is to provide and maintain information to fulfil two business channels' plans. You will be supporting the Delivery Aggregator Account Manager (CAM) on a day-to-day basis and meeting your Sales Channels' requirements.
Responsibilities (to include):
* Direct to Consumer channel tasks (Virtual Stores): Newstore set up, menu and content management, product catalogue set up, business partner invoicing and payments.
* Promotional Support - updating the promotional plan, translating the plan into numbers, monitoring the plan versus actuals
* Creating and tracking Provisions and Accruals
* Joint Business Planning tracking
* Wholesale Route to Market administration: Ensuring Price Catalogue and Ordering and Forecasting accuracy, and on-time customer invoice payments
* Developing strong familiarity withDeliveroo and Uber Eats' account management reports and an ability to connect the customer's reporting to the internal reporting tools.
* Working closely and attending meetings with the Direct to Consumer Operations Lead for the efficient operations ofour Virtual Stores
* Developing strong command of the Uber Eats and Deliveroo Vendor Dashboards, our POS Menu Partner platformand the internal forecasting and budgeting tool
Accountabilities:
* Customer invoice administration
* Invoices to bepaid accurately and on time
* Promotional administration
* Price file and Account Product Catalogue maintenance and query resolution
* Menu and Perfect Store Online Management (for the DTC/Virtual Stores)
Business Results:
* Provision of up to date, accurate customer reporting information
* Implementation, execution and tracking of all customer approved terms and rebates.
* Systems accurately reflecting the Customer Promotional Plan
* Strong Perfect Store Online Tracking Scores
* On-time payment of channel business partners and customers
Skills and experience required
* You MUST have previous experience within FMCG holding a similar role where you are looking after retail/consumer customers
* The successful candidate willhave a high level of educational and/or professional qualifications or a proven track record in a customer environment. It is likely that they are already used to delivering work required by the job profile.
* Applicants must have strong Excel skills with the ability to produce reporting tables, combining multiple sources of data and using formulas to simplify data processing. (an Excel assessment will be held).
* The right candidate must possess good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage workload, delivering to deadlines with accuracy.
* Strong communication and analytical skills are required along with an ability to build and maintain good, immediate and cross-functional working relationships.
