Senior FacilitiesAssistant is required for a leading, well-known blue-chip company who have a centre of excellence and corporate offices in Staines. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company who are continuing to grow and have a very well-known across the globe.Senior Facilities Assistant will be working on site in Staines 4 days a week and will have the flexibility to work 1 day fromhome. In reward you will be paid a salary of c. £45,000 p.a. plus some great benefits.
The successful Senior Facilities Assistant must have:
* Proven facilities experience in a similar company.
* Stable CV with proven longevity in roles.
* Trained First Aider
* Trained Fire Warden
* IOSH Certified
You must also have a cheerful disposition with a can-do attitude, have strong communication skills, have the ability to multitask and who can work independently and part of a wider team.
Thisis an extremely varied role where you will be responsible for assisting the management support team. Supporting business requests and facilitating a smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Senior Facilities Assistant duties will include:
* Managingthe Facilities Help Desk, logging day to day requests.
* Liaising with suppliers and contractors.
* Monitoring, maintainingstationery and ordering.
* Assisting Facilities Manager with tendering and other documentation.
* Ensuring all contracts /service level agreement are renewed in a timely manner.
* Walk the floors to inspect and report for handyman works, check general housekeeping standards are in place and report if any issues.
* Ensure meeting rooms are left tidy.
* Assisting with internal events - Health & Wellbeing week etc.
* Advising staff via email of faults / planned maintenance.
* Distribute andmanage incoming and outgoing mail for business, including courier requests.
* Assisting with Health & Safety matters - First aiders, fire wardens etc., ordering materials for first aid.
* Day to day liaising with onsite catering company.
* Liaising with Landlord for supplier approvals, onsite works.
* Purchasing office stock such as Stationery, cleaning supplies, kitchen etc.
