Role: Technical Service Analyst
Location: Liverpool
Rate: £11 per hour
Contract Length: TEMP - Weekly rolling contract(Expected to go on for 4-6 weeks)

To be based in a small team dedicated to providing device, technical asset management and licence support along with provision of relevant reporting and administration. The role includes working closely with our SharedService Centre (SSC) who controls our central infrastructure function and support the service across the GSC IS supported business units and users.

Work as part of the Technical Services Team providing technical service activities ensuring customer expectations are fully met. Support and engage with local and wider ABF teams to continuously improve the environment to ensure thedelivery of a good customer service experience. Key activities include resolving Technical Device issues, Starter & Leaversprocessing and Asset Management and reporting.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure asset management processes are followed and implemented ensuring all audit requirements are met.

* Maintain and report on stock levels to ensure continued good customerservice.

* Ensures devices are available and built to SLA thus ensuring good customer service to all supported business units.

* Assist with issues where possible and provide additional liaison with ABF SSC, ultimately acting as the point of escalation if needed to ensure the issues are resolved.

* Ensure management of desktop and infrastructure applications includingaccurate licensing allocation, installation, and reporting.

* Engages with the relevant teams within Grocery Service Centreand ABF SSC to drive improvements and quality of service.

* Ensures the correct assignment of licences across the device estate and work with the Tech Services Team Lead and IS Finance to ensure correct levels are maintained.

* Work on technical projects to ensure delivery to the required project standards and all allocated tasks are completed as per the specified requirements.

* Continue to support the control structures for IT and ensure best practice standards are being immersed into IT processes.

* Support the approach of ensuring all team members, identify and deliver continuous improvement activities.

Skills & Experience:

* Good understanding of best practice frameworks e.g., ITIL.
* Educated to at least GCE/A level, SQA Highers or equivalent standard, but more importantly has the experience of similar situations.
* The ability to understand standards and regulations and identify how this could impact IS Technical Services.
* Possesses a good knowledge of IT infrastructure (e.g., desktops, laptops etc).
* Has high quality oral communication and written skills.
* A good level of experiencein a Technical Service or a similar role.
* Proven capability to work independently whilst managing and prioritising own workload.
* Reliable and flexible team player able to engage and work with other departments and functions.
