I'm currently recruiting for a Ward Clerk to join a busy team in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary

The purpose of this role is to provide clerical support to the assigned ward areaTHE ROLE:

* Ensure patient records are maintained in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner and that they are available promptly as required
* Ensure all records are tracked, inputted, maintained and updated at all times
* Must maintain confidentiality at all times
* Collect post and distribute to relevant departments
* Answering telephones and deal with queries that may arise
* Typing, photocopying, office filing and folder management
* Document and arrange transport for patients
*Record patient admissions and discharges daily and ensure all data entered previously is accurate

REQUIREMENTS:

* Previous clerical experience is essential
* Strong customer service experience is required
* Previous health care experience an advantage
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
* Practice a high level of confidentiality
* Proficient Microsoft Office skills
* Immediately available
