Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, react and help solve all customer Quality Assurance issues, using problem-solving tools such as 8D or 5 Why.
* As a Quality Engineer you will assist the Quality Manager with any departmental activities.
* Assist inspectors with measuring products when required. Using verniers, Micrometres, shadowgraphs, CMM etc.
* The Quality Technician will assist with the maintenance of the calibration system, ensuring all equipment is correctly calibratedat all times.
* Conduct internal audits when required.
* Gain a clear knowledge of the APQP process and assist the QualityManager where necessary.
* Produce Automotive documentation including PPAPs and all elements within, process flow, PFMEA, Control plan, ISIR, SC/CC Process capability studies etc.
* Produce Aerospace documentation including FAIR's.
* Help produce anyin-production supporting documentation, operator instruction packs, care points, etc.
* Run/support any MSA & amp; SPC activities.
Person Specification:
* At least 2 years' experience as a QA Engineer in either automotive or aerospace.
* Experience in using basic measuring equipment ie vernier, micrometer, and height gauge.
* Experience of reading engineering drawings including GD&T references.
* Experience with all core tool elements (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC & MSA).
Salary: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
