Are you seeking a new exciting career change in 2022? FRS Recruitment is now inviting applications for the role of'Regional Executive - Agri' on behalf of a leading Irish Agri Organisation. This is a full time perm role and will suit candidates throughout the South Ulster region (Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal).
For this role you will provide support in your region andmanage the day-to-day activities of the organisation. To ensure that the full-service provisions are delivered including membersupport and guidance, lobbying, partner services etc and that members are communicated with effectively. To coordinate and ensure membership and other income plans are adhered to.
The role
* To ensure Elected Officers of the Association are supported with relevant information and are properly briefed and advised before meetings / events.
* To provide guidance and support to County Chairmen and Officers on commodity/ sectoral issues and matters of local / regional importance.
* To keep members informed of organisational policy / sectoral and local issues through the County Executive structure and organisational network.* To attend and provide support at organisation meetings, protests, lobbying, AGMs, delegations to government bodies, Agri businesses etc and ensure all are coordinated professionally.
* To develop and maintain relations with local media and to promote the activity of the Association through various communication mediums (E-mail, WhatsApp, Texts) and ensure maximum media coverageis achieved.
* To coordinate the day-to-day organisational affairs of the Association within counties of responsibility including meetings, lobbying and information provision and act as professional point of contact for outside bodies.
* To manage andgrow the income streams within Counties of responsibility by promoting membership development, supporting member recruitment, and seeking support of voluntary officers to support membership development. To maintain good relations with Agri businesses andensuring levy is collected in a timely fashion.
The Person
* 3rd level qualification or equivalent Experience
* Knowledge of the farming and agriculture sector
* Experience of relationship, event management and member/customer engagement
* A self-starter with excellent planning and interpersonal skills
* Proven track record in meeting and exceeding goals
* Proficient with Microsoft office
