FRS Recruitment are working in partnership with a progressive company in the dairy industry, focused on enhancing dairy animal welfare and providing cutting-edge feeding technologies.
This role will ideally suit someone living and based in County Cork.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join the team in the South-West region of Ireland. This role is ideal for someone with 3 to 4 years industry experience and a background in dairy farming.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our B2B partners by promoting our advanced animal comfort and feeding technologies. This is a field-based role that involves direct interaction with farmers and local distributors to secure new deals and strengthen existing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with local distributors and dairy farmers in the South-West region.
* Actively work on farmsto demonstrate the benefits of animal comfort and feeding technologies.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
* Provide technical support and training to B2B partners, ensuring they understand and can effectively utilize company products.
* Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies.
* Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay informed about market trends and developments.
* Complete Cow Signals Certification training and apply this knowledge to support our partners.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, or a related field.
* Up to four years of relevant experience, preferably in the dairy or farming industry.
* Strong understanding of dairy farming practices and challenges.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel within the South-West region and work flexiblehours as needed.
* Valid driver's license.
