Maintenance Manager - Large-Scale Farming Operation - Argentina
FRS Recruitment is seeking applications for the position of Maintenance Manager for a leading international agribusiness, based in Argentina.This role is located on a semi large-scale arable farm.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Equipment Management
* Oversee the maintenance, repair, and efficiency of all farming and processing plant equipment.
* Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
* Managedaily maintenance activities, ensuring equipment operates at optimal industry standards.
* Lead the workshop operations, including job scheduling, labor allocation, and spare parts management.
* Train and mentor staff, improving technical skills and overall performance within the department.
* Provide technical guidance on key projects and operations as needed.
Administration & Budgeting
* Maintain accurate service records, equipment logs, and maintenance reports.
* Ensure compliance withbudget allocations, tracking expenses and proposing cost-efficient solutions.
* Oversee the inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring efficient resource use and reducing downtime.
* Prepare reports on maintenance activities, identifying potential improvements and efficiencies.
Health & Safety Compliance
* Ensure a safe working environment for all staff, enforcing company Health & Safety policies.
* Identify and address workplace hazards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Provide safety training and guidance to employees under management.
* Coordinate with Health & Safety teams to uphold regulatory compliance.
Candidate Profile
Education: Technical Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably in large-scale farming or agro-industrialoperations.
Skills:
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
* Proven ability to optimize maintenance processes and reduce operational costs.
* Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
* Languages: English (Intermediate), Spanish (Intermediate or higher preferred).
