VideoEditor - London/Hybrid - £35,000 - £45,000
Our client, a global leader in the marketing and communications supply chain services, are looking for a Video Editor to join their team to work with some of the largest brands around the world.
The aim ofthe role is to help organisations renovate business procedures helping realise the potential of their brands.
The role will allow you to work on a wide range of video projects, including TV commercial, editorial, promotional, digital and social pieces.You will get the opportunity to combine creative editing and the use of motion graphics to support the stories being told.
You will work closely with the Directors, Agency Creative team and Producers on projects, whilst also showcasing the ability to work independently to a brief when necessary.
This is an opportunity to work with many of the largest brands around the world,giving our client lots of prospects to grow and develop both as a business and as individuals. You will gain experience workingalongside Senior Editors, enabling you to expand on your skills and experience.
What you'll do as a Video Editor:
*Editing of video/audio content in line with the briefs
* Provide creative input on projects when required
* Creating, modifying, and delivering assets across all online and offline media
* Liaising with the in-house team and, on occasion, direct with clients to define their requirements to ensure an on-time, on-budget, high quality delivery
* Working with the Production team to advise on post-production schedules and workflow where required
What you'll bring as Video Editor:
* A minimumof 4 years' experience freelance or full time working in a shared post production environment
* Able to use both Avid and Premier to a professional standard
* In depth knowledge of video and audio post production and its associated workflows
* A strong understanding of Photoshop & a good working knowledge of After Effects
* Previous experience in commercials and shortform work is essential
* Client facing experience and a background in delivering offline editing duties
* Be confident, flexible, proactive and professional with the ability to keep smiling under pressure.
