An incredible new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Care Home Manager to manage an exceptional residential care home based in the Shrewsbury, Shropshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This is a fantastic service in which has been originally a vicarage, has been extended and refurbished to provideevery resident dedicated care 24 hours a day
**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care**
As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:
* To manage staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life
* You'll be working closely with your Clinical Lead and the widerhealthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and those of our external regulators
* Reporting to the regional Operations Manager, you will create and lead a vision for the home toensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home's journey to 'outstanding'
* Whilst managing people and processes, being a Home Manager is a complex, influential and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts and multi-disciplinary teams
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
* A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and can work towards achieving Outstanding
* Good communication skills and can maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internalas well as external professionals, families and visitors
* A proven track record of marketing and business skills within theprivate care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home
* Enthusiasm and passion for developing high level of person-centred care
* Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care serviceThe successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,000 per annum.
