The Company
Having been in operation for over 8 years this family run businessprovide Domiciliary support services exclusively to the Porthcawl area. They boast a team of dedicated carers and operate froma well appointed, centrally located office. The owner is very hands-on in the business and looking for a Registered Care Managerto assist in the running of this highly successful, well established business.
Their reputation precedes them offering highquality care to adults within their own homes.
The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for running thecare operations, with the owner being focussed on the financial aspects of the business. Although experience in all aspects ofthis role is required, a hand-over plan will be put in place to allow you time to become established within the company, their practices and procedures.
It is thought the role would be a 40 hours per week Monday - Friday position but applicants lookingfor less hours or different days etc. are also welcome to apply.
Duties will include:
* Ensuring compliance to all regulatory and legal requirements
* Completion and maintenance of all required legal documentation
* Care planning for new customers
* Management and upkeep of client files
* Assisting in the recruitment of new carers
* Visiting all new clients in conjunction with the owner
* Setting up and managing E Learning for employees
* Overseeing the team of carers
* Ensuring staff training remains up to date
* Assisting owner with the scheduling of work
* Ensuring the clients needs are met through providing quality service
* Helping and assisting where ever required
Requirements
The successful applicant will havethe following qualifications, experience and attributes:
* A registered Manager NVQ Level 5 essential
* Car and current drivers license
* Experienced in a similar role
* Good knowledge of regulations and compliance
* A friendly team player
*Reliable and trustworthy
* Flexible with a 'can do' attitude
* Good skills of empathy and compassion
