A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Care Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Leyland, Lancashire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providersThis is a purpose-built home that works closely with residents to provide high-quality nursing and residential care**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care**
As a Senior Care Assistant your key duties include:
* You will be tasked with managing the care team within the Home
* Ensuring that care staffare adhering to CQC guidelines whilst providing exceptional levels of care to residents
* Promote and deliver high standards of care and supervise
* Instruct less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided within the HomeThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
* Excellent communication and written skills
* Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
* Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised* Team player but able to work on your own initiative
* Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet theneeds of the Home
* Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly
The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £13.50 per hour and the annual salary up to£30,888 per annum.
