Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about supporting education and looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students?
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work within high schools across the Congleton area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students continue to engage in learning during a teacher's absence. If you have experience working with young people, are adaptable, and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear fromyou!
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support students in the classroom in the absence of the class teacher
*Ensure that students remain on task and complete set work
* Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment
* Assist with the overall well being of students
* Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff members
* Follow the school's policies and procedures
What We Are Looking For:
* Previous experience working with young people (teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is a plus)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* The ability to remaincalm and manage classroom behaviour effectively
* A positive, proactive approach to supporting student's learning and development
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* A flexible approach to work
