Location: Alsager, Cheshire
Salary: £120 - £145 per day
Start Date: April and September 2025 available

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will play an essential role in delivering engaging and effective science lessons to students with special educational needs (SEND). You will create a supportive learning environment thathelps students develop an understanding of scientific principles while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. This role requires an adaptable, creative, and patient teacher who is committed to ensuring all students can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging science lessons tailoredto students' needs
* Differentiate lessons to ensure accessibility for all students, including those with SEND
* Support students in building a strong foundation in scientific knowledge, practical skills, and critical thinking
* Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment
* Work closely with the team to develop personalised learning plans and interventions
* Encourage self-confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills in students
* Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to support individual learning needs
Key Requirements:
* PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Strong knowledgeof science curriculum (KS3/KS4)
* Excellent communication, behaviour management, and adaptability skills
* Passionate aboutsupporting students with SEND and helping them succeed
* Previous experience working with SEND students is desirable but notessential
