The Role:
We are seeking a compassionateand dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will workclosely with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure each child receives the tailored support they need.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEND.
* Assist in delivering tailored learning strategies within the classroom.
* Help students build confidence and develop independent learning skills.
* Work collaborativelywith teachers, SENCO, and external professionals.
* Support students with emotional and behavioural needs.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children with SEND (in a school or similar setting).
* Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them.
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, SEND qualifications) are desirable.
