Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Term Time Only Plus 3 weeks (42 weeksper year)
Salary: £14.43 - £16.11 per hour (£27,769 - £31,002 per annum, depending on experience)

The SEN School is part of a big SEN Trust, an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people, and adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The independent day school in Lancashire offers specialist education for youngpeople with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties in a supportive environment.
The Role:
The school arelooking for an experienced and organised administrator to support the daily operations of the school. This is a busy and variedrole that requires excellent multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the School Business Manager and Central HR teams to ensure smooth administration processes across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality administrative support to the school team.
* Assist with recruitment, probation reviews, appraisals, and performance management in collaboration with HR.
* Support the School Business Manager with processing invoices, goods receipting, new supplier onboarding, and petty cash management.
* Oversee the school's business administration function, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines.
* Assist with key school operations, including First Aid coordination, off-site activities, and catering management.
What We're Looking For:
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in Finance, HR, or Pupil Administration, preferably within an education or care setting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
* Accurate typing skills and experience in minute-taking.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
