Job Title: Area Site Technician Supervisor
Salary: £38,240.62
Location: East Scotland
Shift Pattern: Days
We arecurrently seeking an experienced Area Site Technician Supervisor to join our team. As an Area Site Technician Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive maintenance services across multiple sites in East Scotland. Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, you will ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, complying with all Health andSafety legislation.
Key Accountabilities:
* Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety policies at all times
* Lead, recruit, support, coach, and motivate the technical team to optimize performance
* Complete PPM schedule within agreed timescales and ensure accurate documentation
* Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and carry out repairs as necessary
* Provide 24/7 coverage for reactive and planned maintenance across all sites in the area
* Identify and report non-repairable faults in plant and machinery, and recommend suitable replacements
* Maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues, representing the company in a professional manner
* Monitor and update the Mercury system for live job updates and resource availability
* Follow and support the purchase order process and ensure cost control
*Responsible for direct line management of Area Site Technicians and Area Maintenance Technicians, including recruitment, training, and performance management
Requirements:
* Educated to GCSE/Standard Grade level as a minimum, with relevant electrical installation/maintenance qualifications (NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent)
* AM2
* City and Guilds 2382 17th Edition or 18th Edition (new)
* Knowledge of 3-phase electrics and its applications
* Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment
* Strong skills in quality of repairs and maintenance, speed and efficiency of work
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Flexibility to work on a shift pattern, including weekendsand on-call rota
