Description:
Mobile Service Technician
Reporting to the Scottish Team Leader, you will meet our Service Engineers at high-risk sites and remove cash under our security protocols. You will also meet Engineers on site to provide large parts and assist the Engineer withrepairs when required. Carry out minor faults, as an FLM engineer would do, such as clearing card reader faults, printer faults, note jams etc.
What will I be doing as an MST?
* Receive your daily work calls, manage, and plan your own day accordingto geography and priority.
* Liaise with surrounding Engineers, attend high security sites, to remove the cash from the atm.This will include the wearing of security equipment and follow security procedures.
* The MST will carry various large parts in his vehicle and will meet up with the engineer on site when required to provide these parts. They will also remain onsite to assist the Engineers with repairs and lifting of parts where required.
* If not required to meet engineers, then the MST will be allocated Engineering jobs, to attend and repair. These tickets will be of a low engineering maintenance which the MST would be capable of fixing.
* Meet non-engineering tickets, such as BT meets, locksmiths, alarm handovers etc.
* Escalate ATM technical problems to your Team Leader for guidance and help.
* Use resources available to you to aim to repair each fault first time, perform maintenance checks on each visit to prevent further faults from occurring.
* Conduct cleaning of ATM front fasciaon each visit and check that branding and signage is correct.
* Perform hardware and software upgrades as requested.
* Understand engineer security levels and adhere to them.
* Comply with company security policies and procedures.
Experience Required:
* Previous experience in an Engineering role is desirable, but not essential.
* Knowledge of Wincor, NCR, Triton, Hyosung and Tidel ATM's is desirable.
* Six-month probation including a Ten-Year security screening.
* Full UK Driving Licencerequired, clean licence is desirable.
* Added benefit if you have previous experience with electronics, or mechanical devices.* Must have basic fault-finding skills.
* Previous experience in a service engineer role is desirable.
Working Hours:* 45 contractual hours per week based on door to door shifts: Mon- Fri 8.00am-6.00pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break.
* Requirement to work 2 x public holidays (all except Christmas Day) with 2 days given back in Lieu - Weekends shift pattern working:2 x Sat 9-5, 1 x Sun 9-4, 1 Sat given back as day in lieu for the extra Saturday worked.

* Salary: £28k + 11% shift allowance = (£31,000) and quarterly bonus
