Description:
Crane TechnicianWe have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to work specifically on cranes and forktrucks within a multinational distribution business based in the Corby area.
The Role
- Your key responsibilities will be to provide mechanical and electrical support to ensure performance of all Demag Crane systems (heights of up to 20m) and MHE (forktrucks etc).
- Identification of continuous Improvement opportunities, proposal of plans and implementation.
- Strict adherence of site H&S and maintenance and updating of all records (PPM, Orders etc).
The Candidate
- The successful candidate will have preferably completed an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent in Engineering
- You must also have reasonably strong skills in electrical fault finding but much of the works is mechanical.
- You MUST have experience of working on automated crane systems and associated equipment from within distribution, manufacturing, or a related environment.
- This position will be suitable for a dynamic, highly organised, team player looking to join a leading brand in the automation sector.
Monday to Friday Double days shift - 06.30 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 21.30
