Door Entry/Access Engineer - London - £36,000
We are currently seeking a skilled Door Entry/Access Control Service Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. As a door entry/access control service engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing door entry systems in the Hackney, Haringey, Islington, and SE London areas. This position offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Competently perform fault finding on door entry systems,including Entrotec, Bell, BPT, Videx, KMS, Pac, Paxton, and Rayel systems.
* Conduct routine maintenance, respond to fault calls, and carry out small works jobs efficiently.
* Utilize CCTV experience to enhance access control systems (CCTV experienceis an advantage).
* Participate in an out-of-hours callout rotation in London, approximately one week out of every seven.
*Maintain and safeguard company-issued equipment, including a van with a fuel card for business use only.
* Adhere to a set schedule of working hours (08:00 - 16:30) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Prior experience in servicing and maintaining door entry/access control systems is essential.
* Familiarity with various door entry systems, such as Entrotec, Bell, BPT, Videx, KMS, Pac, Paxton, and Rayel.
* CCTV experience is advantageous.
* Self-motivated andcapable of working independently or as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and excellent fault-finding capabilities.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* A valid driver's license is required.
