The RoleAs a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and delivering designs for the DataCentre and Mission Critical sector. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure a consistent high-quality servicefor clients, contributing to business development and team growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Primarily working on Data Centre and Mission Critical projects.
* Acting as a client-facing representative, disseminating project briefs within the team.* Leading the team in developing strategic concepts for projects.
* Managing and prioritizing the workload of a project team.* Taking responsibility for solid technical delivery, either individually or as part of a team.
* Hosting and chairing internal project team meetings.
* Contributing to the professional development of individual team members.
* Engaging with juniorsupport staff to ensure skill development.
* Being financially astute and collaborating on fee expenditure monitoring.
* Exploring new ways of working and dedicating time for innovation and research.
* Creating and maintaining a high industry reputation and ensuring adherence to quality and risk control procedures.
About You
* Relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, with equivalent qualifications.
* Ideally holds industry-recognized memberships such as CIBSE/IET/ASHRAE/Uptime Institute.
* Experience in Data Centre and Mission Critical projects.
* Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of BuildingServices Engineering.
* In-depth understanding of modern technical delivery methods.
* Competent in designing and reviewinginformation by others.
* Proven experience in leading, motivating, and supervising junior engineers.
* Strong interpersonaland communication skills.
* Previous experience across a range of projects.
