Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and coordinate our electrical engineering and maintenance team at our Rugby facility. As a key member of the engineering management team, you will be responsible for prioritizing workloads, delegating tasks, and ensuring that all electricalmaintenance work is carried out efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervision & Coordination: Overseeand manage the day-to-day activities of the electrical maintenance team, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and within deadlines.
* Workload Management: Prioritize and delegate tasks to the maintenance team based on operational needs and urgent requirements.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct systematic checks and ensure that all work complies with health and safety regulations.
* Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and training to a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the engineering management team to develop and implement strategies for improving maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
Qualifications andExperience:
* Educational Background: Completion of an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within an electrical engineering or maintenance environment.
* Health & Safety: A health and safety qualification is desirable but not essential.* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical engineering practices and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complextechnical issues.
