Description:
THE ROLE:The Maintenance Supervisor will join the maintenance team in support of the Engineering Manager, planning and organising engineering activities along with hands-on support where and when required around the manufacturing plant. You will have a sound knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance, regulatory requirements and management of systems and documentation to ensure full working order and compliance.
DAILY DUTIES:
This will be a hands-on maintenance role along with leadershipduties.
Leading a team of 4 shift technicians your daily activities will include:-
- Implementation legislative requirements to the infrastructure
- Identification of improvements for plant reliability and effectiveness.
- Specification anddelivery of associated health & safety requirements
- The review of training within the Engineering team
- Upkeep of engineering drawings, manuals and documentation.
- Delivery of small capital projects.
- Sub-contractor support and management.
- Maintenance of, but not limited to electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC's.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Minimum Time-served Apprenticeship (HNC / NVQ / C&G level) in Engineering ideally along with 18th ed wiring regulations.
- Demonstrable experience with a variety of automated machinery
- IOSH certification (preferred).
- Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Security clearance checks required (5 years British residency)
Working a 12 hours days nights rotating shift pattern
