The Repair Technician Role:- Working within the Calibration department, your role will include the hands on Calibration and repair of Electro-mechanical devices, including but not limited to high accuracy measuring devices.
- Adjust Mechanical gauges to fixed, known standards within the calibration workshop.
- Prioritising the work-flow through the Calibration area to ensure a logical work order.
- Fault find and repair Electronic / Mechanical components to ensure they can be quickly assigned back to their user.
- Liaise with stores with regards to spare part availability.The Mechanical Technician Candidate: - Mechanical and Electronics appreciation / Understanding is a must- Confident user of all hand tools
- Strong problem solving ability
- Self-motivated
- Able to Prioritise and Coordinate their own work.
Thehours:
Monday to Thursday 8-5pm and Friday 8-1.
Benefits:Salary £27,000 - £32,000
