Facilities Management Lead - £45k-£48k - Wolverhampton
An experienced Facilities Managementsupervisor/manager is required to manage the Facilities Management team with responsibility for managing all aspects of the Facilities Management activities within the building. Ranging from, but not limited to, reactive and planned maintenance (planning and participation), through to supporting variations, changes, and projects.
This position has direct reports (Facilities Management team), and the Facilities Management lead will ensure the team maintain and repair the services of the facility in line with the clients' contractual requirements, agreed timescales and budget.
The goal is to minimise the reactive workload through good maintenance. The execution of all tasks is to be of a high standard; performed safely and professionally. Note that construction, major structural repairs, repair of electronic and complex medical equipment is beyond the scope of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct management of the Facilities Management team (e.g., HR, leave approvals, appraisals, trainingrequirements, etc.)
* Building Lifecycle and Medical Pre-installation management (costs, budgeting.)
* Provide assistance toContracts Manager with Facilities Management data for month end performance reporting.
* Produce and manage PPM plans via thehelpdesk software package (CA Facilities Management system), in line with our contractual obligations, noting any changes in legislation or regulation.
* Plan PPM Tasks to ensure a practical and efficient approach. Minimising downtime and considering access, tools, cost, competence to complete task and parts availability
* Ensure Facilities Management duties are completed in line with service level agreed.
What you will need;
* Experience of working with the NHS, with a thorough understanding ofits processes and issues.
* In depth knowledge of contractual SLA's and meeting targets
* Very good understanding of design& construction processes
* Proven track record of leading Facilities Management teams and all aspects associated to the management of a site-based Facilities Management service. They will have an electrical background and be familiar with the current electrical regulations applicable to the work undertaken within a healthcare facility.
* Managing and motivating direct reports, along with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and from different disciplines to achieve the desired deliverables
* In-depth knowledge of Facilities Management techniques, experience of CA Facilities Management systems, H&S, CDM andare familiar with performance obligations driven by PFI and/or SLA contracts.
