Description:
Purpose
Responsible for performing on-site service and preventative maintenance, calibration,repair, and installation of laboratory equipment.
Duties
* Service assignments comprising of preventive maintenance, calibration, repair,emergencybreakdowncallout, commissioning, and customer training of laboratory equipment, including:
* Centrifuges
* Incubators
* Fridge/freezers
* Ovens
* Vacuum Pumps
* Completion of all relevant documentation including service reports and calibration certificates.
* Technical assistance/support to customers and the sales team for all products* Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers on technical and support issues.
* Assist in ad-hoc tasks, such as scrap disposal,stock take, packing as required.

* Relevant technical and practical skills
* IT literate and a good communicator on all levels
* Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
* Persistent and efficient, and used to deliveragainst deadlines and commitments

* Flexibility and logical troubleshooting ability
Essential
Full/Clean UK Driving License
Desirable
HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering
