Concept is looking for a field service engineer to join their award-winning UK based client specialising in automatic coffee machines, with over 30 years of experience designing to the highest standards.
Location: Southeast England (depending on location of the client there is travel included between Peterborough to Devon)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Mission:
Carry out after sales technical support, resolve incidents and repairs in assigned area, according to the instructions of the After Sales Manager and the established procedures, with the objective of ensuring support to the Sales Department, the satisfaction
of internal and external customers and identify new business opportunities
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Skilfully receive, manage, and resolve incidents, collaborating with various departments and communicating outcomes to our valued clients.
* Determine whether incidents reported by clients are eligible for product guarantees.
* Identify problems, document all relevant information for root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are carried out.
Technical and Training Documents:
* Meticulously detail and update technical documentation, spare parts information,and repair methods.
* Provide training to distributors and operators on product usage.
* Visit clients and represent technical support at trade fairs to assist our sales team.
* Identify and communicate new applications, opportunities for product improvement, and sales enhancements based on client requirements.
* Support in the development and results from field tests for new products.
* Identify and propose continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace processes.
* Actively collaborate with other internal departments, taking on After Sales functions to ensure effective analysis and implementation of actions for continuous improvement.
* Ensure the correct use and maintenance of tools, manuals, and equipment required for assigned tasks.
Requirements:
* Mechanical or Electronic Engineering experience is essential.
* Previous experience within Coffee and Vending industry is advantageous but not essential.
* Must be okay with long distance travel.
