Description:
Are you a highly skilled and versatile Technician with extensive knowledge of engines, capable of effectively resolving both mechanical and electrical issues? Are you open to a field-based role in the Dublin area, where you will travel to different sites to carry out repairs? If you answered yes to both questions andare seeking a position offering a salary of up to 45,000 Euros, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, then read on!Field Service Technician Role:
* As a Field Service Technician, you will provide expert technical support to diagnose and perform complex repairs on engine products at customer sites.
* You will utilise specialised tools and adhere to documentedprocedures and policies to diagnose and complete intricate repairs.
* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on engines and related components in the field, in accordance with documented schedules and standards.
* Ensure accurate documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents, either through handwritten forms or inputscreens in the business system.
* Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of service vehicles and tools.
SuccessfulField Service Technician:
* Possess comprehensive knowledge of diesel engines, their applications, and repair techniques.* Proficient in mechanically repairing diesel engines and utilising diagnostic systems (Experience with Insite Diagnostics software would be highly advantageous).
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and office personnel.* Competent in utilising electronic service tool applications to identify and utilise the appropriate hardware and software tools for servicing or troubleshooting.
* Skilled in product repair and maintenance, following guidelines and utilising necessary tools to ensure high-quality repairs within standard repair time.
* Hold a valid full driving license.
* Apprentice trained.
* Previous field service work experience.
