Description:
Purpose
Responsible for performing on-site service and preventative maintenance, calibration, repair, and installation oflaboratory equipment.
Duties
* Service assignments comprising of preventive maintenance, calibration, repair, emergencybreakdowncallout, commissioning, and customer training of laboratory equipment, including:
* Centrifuges
* Incubators* Fridge/freezers
* Ovens
* Vacuum Pumps
* Completion of all relevant documentation including service reports and calibration certificates.
* Technical assistance/support to customers and the sales team for all products
* Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers on technical and support issues.
* Assist in ad-hoc tasks, such as scrap disposal, stock take, packing asrequired.

* Relevant technical and practical skills
* IT literate and a good communicator on all levels
* Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
* Persistent and efficient, and used to deliver against deadlines and commitments
* Customer and service orientation
* Flexibility and logical troubleshooting ability
Essential
Full/Clean UKDriving License
Desirable
HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering
