My client, a leading multinational, are seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team covering the Limerick, Clare, Galway region.
Within this position you will be responsible for repairing, servicing and installing weighing and food preparation equipment based in supermarkets and independent retailers.
You will have basic hardware and software knowledge to be able to identify possible fixes and have a working knowledge of safe electricity working practices.
The Position…
* Monday to Friday position working 9am to 5:30pm. With no expectation of having to be on call after work hours or having to work weekends

Responsibilities: (A Snapshot…)
The role will entail travelling between customer sites undertaking the following duties:
* To provide breakdown, preventative maintenance services and software upgrades to retail weighing and food preparation equipment at retail sites
* To carry out installations of weighing and food preparation equipment oncustomer sites.
* To maintain accurate records (which may be paper-based, or pc based so that the business may determine contract profitability and technician productivity.
* To ensure that any other paperwork associated with this role is maintained and adhered to in respect to the relevant standard and Company policy and to ensure accurate and timely administrative care is taken when completing time sheets.
Requirements:
The Field Service Technician job is not an overly technically demanding role but you definitely need to be able to being able to work on PC related equipment. You will also be mechanically minded alongwith having a working knowledge of working safely on electrical items. You will need a full clean divers licence.
There is acompetitive salary of €31,000-€35,000 DOE plus company pension, death in service scheme, company car & fuel card, laptop plus commission available for upselling etc
