Fire Alarm Engineer - Warrington - £32k-£40k
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team, covering Warrington and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing ofFire Detection & Alarm systems, Emergency Lighting systems, and Portable Fire Extinguishers. You will ensure that all systems comply with current regulations and industry standards, delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service and Maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in commercial, industrial, and residential properties.
*Perform scheduled testing, inspections, and remedial works on emergency lighting systems.
* Carry out regular checks and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers, ensuring compliance with BS 5306 and relevant standards.
* Diagnose and resolve faults, ensuring all systems are fully operational.
* Provide technical support and guidance to clients, advising on best practicesfor fire safety.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with British Standards (BS 5839) for fire alarms and BS 5266 for emergency lighting.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring clear documentation of work carried out.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
* Experience in the maintenance and servicing offire detection & alarm systems, emergency lighting, and portable fire extinguishers.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations,including BS 5839, BS 5266, and BS 5306.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and fix system issues efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
* Relevant qualifications in fire alarm and emergency lighting systems (desirable).
