Fire Commissioning Engineer - Leicester - £40,000
Our client are a leading provider of Fire and Security solutions, committed to ensuring the safety and security of our clients. As they continue to grow and expand their services in Leicestershire and surrounding areas they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to join the team.
Purpose of the role:
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the team, focusing primarily on Fire Commissioning with expertise in GENT panels. While experience in Security is a bonus, it is not essential. If you are not already FIA qualified, company are willing to support your qualification process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct top-level Fire Commissioning on a wide range of GENT panels.
* Oversee and participate in small works and installation tasks.* Take a leadership role, guiding and mentoring junior engineers, and assisting with their professional development.
* Ensureall commissioning tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and within established timelines.
* Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and stay updated with industry best practices.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
*Travel to various client locations in Leicestershire and surrounding areas.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in Fire Commissioning, with expertise in GENT panels.
* Knowledge of Security systems (bonus but not essential).
* FIA qualification is a bonus, and we are willing to support the qualification process.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attentionto detail.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Acommitment to safety and adhering to industry standards.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
