GasEngineer/Fitter - West Midlands - £32,000-£38,000 per annum
Our client who are specialists in the Commercial and Industrial Heating industry are urgently recruiting for a Gas Engineer/Fitter to join their small, friendly team. Working for an SME based in the West Midlands the main purpose of the role will be;
Main Purpose;
* Commercial & Industrial Heating (no domestic) - both process (60%) & HVAC (40%)
* Majority of work will be service and maintenance however you will also be expectedto carry out site surveys, upgrades, installations, breakdowns, repairs and some commissioning duties.
* PPM & Reactive maintenance work
* Will be working on plant rooms and boiler houses in a variety of settings including NHS, education, leisurefacilities and churches etc
* Would suit someone that is currently working as either a Gas Fitter or a fully fledged Commercial Gas Engineer.
Skills/Qualifications required;
* Experience on the following manufacturers would be highly advantageous- Riello, Ecoflam, Mikrofill, Airflow, Powrmatic
* Mechanically biased but with basic electrical/wiring experience i.e. control panels etc.
* Fault Finding
* GasSafe (ACS) - Not Essential
* CCN1 - Not Essential
* COCN1 - Not Essential
* Ideally have CSCS Card and IPAF licence.
Person Specification;
* Will be required to work on a national basis with frequent travel - full UK Driving Licence is essential
* Technically minded and willing to learn
* Must be able to act responsibly and conduct themselves accordingly with customers
* Company and majority of work will be in/around the West Midlands so will ideally be based within a commutable distance
* Excellent communication skills, integrity, approachable and eager to learn
Package;
* £32,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience
* Company Vehicle & Fuel Card
* Standard Rate on call out* 40 our week (Up to 48 x basic & over time 1/2)
* Saturdays are paid at Time and a Half
* Sundays are paid at Double Time x 2
