Import / Export Compliance Analyst is required for a 1 year contract role, working for a global manufacturing and engineeringcompany who are known across the globe.
This is a home-based role, with the need to go into the office once every 2-3 weeks in Darlington. Paid weekly on an hourly rate of up to £14.50 per hour (c. £28,000 p.a.).
As Import / Export Compliance Analystyou will be responsible for researching and executing processes to comply with Customs or Export Controls regulations.
You MUST have advance Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Filters etc) and have the ability to analyse data and draw conclusions from it.
Alongwith this the successful Import / Export Compliance Analyst must have:
* Clear communication skills.
* IT literate in allMS Office packages.
* Be proactive.
Duties as Import / Export Compliance Analyst include:
* Research and monitor locallaws, regulations and procedures related to import/export transactions.
* Prepare summaries of new regulations for review andupdate team members in supply chain.
* Monitor and gather data for your assigned area - draft reports on activity.
* Gatherdocumentation to draft and submit applications for import / export licences.
* Communicate with brokers to ensure all documentation is consistent and compliant.
* Build relationships with vendors, brokers and external resources.
* Analyse import/export activities to ensure company does not exceed or violate restrictions.
* Gather documentation for licences, drafts and submit licence applications - monitor approval process with government portals.
