Description:
We are recruiting for an Installation Engineer based in Southern England to join an award winning manufacturer of car parking solution equipment. The position will be working at customers sites across the country planning, installation and commissioning of equipment.
Please note, this position will involve UK wide travel and staying away from home on a regular basis (sometimes for the entire week).
What the Role Will Involve:
* Installing and commissioning car park equipment (pay on foot machines, barriersetc)
* Investigating faults including collection of and dissemination of relevant diagnostic information
* Gaining a detailed knowledge of the system to be installed together with a thorough understanding of the processes relevant to installation andcommissioning
* Identifying and providing solutions to issues that arise
* Maintaining project scheduled and organising sitespecific tasks to meet project deadlines
* Liaising with third party contractors to ensure all works are completed to scheduled and all equipment if fit for purpose
Experience Required:
* Previous experience of installing and commissioning networked products
* Excellent electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge and experience
* Good working knowledge of networking and PC based networked control systems
* HNC/HND in communications, electrical, electronics or electrical engineering is preferable if no previous experience in a similar role

* £28,000 - £32,000 basic salary
